Climbing One of the Hardest Mountains in the Philippines! (Mt. Guiting-Guiting)

Image
Yep, my dream finally came true! To be able to climb one of the deadliest and the hardest mountain in the Philippines. Actually, I never did any training. My last training climb was i think, 2 months ago which is in Babag mountain range in Cebu. I did carry good amount of weight and so far, the climb was awesome! Although we did not encounter heavy rains on the trail. That would be another story. We slept on Mayo's peak on the first night. I did not setup my tent because it was humid. I just lay a tarp then, my sleeping pad. There were lots of wild cats around the areas. lol The second day was the most exhausting. we have to cross the "knife edge" which was awesome. The view was spectacular! I was expecting more on the "Kiss the Wall" but I was not impressed. Maybe it was scarier before? I don't know. It was smooth this time so, no more sharp rocks on the way to the lineup! Waves of Calicoan

Wallet Ninja! A Cool Tool in Your Pocket!

Image
Here is a quick review on Wallet Ninja! A Cool Tool in your Pocket! I got this Wallet Ninja tool from an online shop. It was quite cheap so I got it. So far, the material is promising and it has a very sturdy feel. It is made of hard heat treated steel! One cool feature is this tool is only 1.5mm thick and is as thin as your credit card. It fits great in your wallet. Mine stays in my wallet all the time. And it's not that heavy for just around 1.6 ounces. Anyways, there are 18 basic uses for this tool.

EDC Review: Life Gear Mini Led Flashlight

I got the Life Gear Mini Led Flashlight while strolling around a local hardware store. Actually, I found this one near the cashier area. I took it and played with it for a while before buying. The queue was long so I took my time. lol.. This would be a great replacement for my Streamlight Nanolight in which I lost somewhere along with my apartment key. Life Gear Mini and the Daiso Mini
