Here is a quick review on Wallet Ninja! A Cool Tool in your Pocket! I got this Wallet Ninja tool from an online shop. It was quite cheap so I got it. So far, the material is promising and it has a very sturdy feel. It is made of hard heat treated steel! One cool feature is this tool is only 1.5mm thick and is as thin as your credit card. It fits great in your wallet. Mine stays in my wallet all the time. And it's not that heavy for just around 1.6 ounces. Anyways, there are 18 basic uses for this tool.

The Leatherman Micra Multitool This is actually my second Leatherman Micra ! I lost my first one in Bankok airport because I was not expecting that I will be going on a plane trip in going back to Kuala Lumpur (I was planning on taking the train.. but got tired). After a good night at Mount Batulao, we immediately went down towards the jump-off point using the old trail this time. Met some day hikers and drank some expensive buko juice. Once we arrived on the restaurant where everyone meets from the hike, we took a shower since there were shower rooms there and I might have forgotten the price for it. lol... Last February 7, 2015, I've got a chance to do some dirt time and gear test at my grandparents place away from town. Took my mountain bike, a few stuff to eat, Rover Camel solo woodstove, my Toaks 550ml Titanium Cookset, my designed bushcraft knife , and the Silangan Outdoor Equipment Santi 13 tent with me. I bought this tent from a local tent maker Silangan Outdoor Equipment . I also got a tarp from him in which i used during the typhoon Yolanda / Haian . The tent packed small, it can even fit on my Osprey hydration pack but decided to attach it in the bike handlebars along with the cookset and my earthpad. I got this tent because it uses less poles. You can only use only one pole whether its a bamboo, a straight stick, a trekking pole, a monopod or even your selfie stick if not used.  And it is a solo tent. I tried to design a knife myself but I am not a skilled blacksmith. I wanted a knife that looks scandinavian-ish but it is very expensive to get a high carbon steel one. So there, I created the Murag-Mora (Mora Lookalike).  Drawn by hand together with her brothers Drawn by hand, I took my design to the local blacksmith somewhere in Carigara, Leyte and have it forged. Finished Product With 1059 leaf spring steel, and carabao (water buffalo) horn for the handle, the Murag Mora was born! Although it is not a full tang, it is still reliable, I still have to do a field test. I tried to polish it to appear great! I've recently got this cool gear from a local mall. I was intrigued with the size and its packability. Titanium Packable Backpack I have never heard of this brand. The store guy told me that the materials were from Japan and is being made here in the Philippines. Since it was made here in my homeland, I am sure that the craftsmanship on this item is good. Just like my bigger backpack the Gregory Serrac 45, yep this is an american brand but when I saw the back label, it was made in the Philippines! I was always the lightweight backpacker; I usually carry less during hikes or any multi-day camping trips. But now, learned to carry even more lightweight gears and usually, sacrifices some of the comforts. Instead of my solo tent which weighs a kilo, I tend to carry a tarp and a hammock. Although, my tent is not that heavy, there are still too many stuff to carry like the poles for instance which takes too much room in my pack. But the agony in having a hammock and tarp is that you need to find trees for the hammock to be setup. I now carry a “Silangan” a locally made tarp and a hammock which I bought at a local online store. Also, during only overnight hikes I now carry my DIY “beercan” stove which is very light compared to my Snowpeak Gigapower plus the adapter and the butane canister. It was love at first sight when I first saw this tent. And I hope it will last forever. I have own this tent for more than 3 years after I replaced my TNF Lunarlite which was sold a long time ago and Coleman Avior x1 which was also sold. My first climb using this tent was Mount Apo, the highest in the Philippines. What I like about being solo is that I wont hear other people snore which would make me sleepless for hours. Also, the pumpkin orange color is great and is easy on the eyes. Whats great about this tent is that it is a freestanding tent using a single pole.Ive got no problem on strong winds. Although solo, at least my girlfriend and I can fit inside. While trekking with the Trailhawk & Camp Red in Buhisan for the Nocturnal Hunting event, We came across this logging site. Heartbreaking? yes! I found this small shard of wood which is no use for them loggers. By the way, we were hunting these stream crabs which is quite easy to catch using your hand but once their pincers get you, it hurts like hell like ten ants bite you at once. We've got like about more than 10 of them crabs (i only caught 2) and cook it with coconut sap. Tastes great just like they do in carenderia but outdoor style! We ate it with corn grit rice.. wowwww!!! Then it rained very hard that night and I was sleeping on a hammock... Slept like 2hours only. THe next day, it rained again and I was very wet and smells wild. A bottle of beer could help :D Now back to the spoon, I decided to carve the shard of wood into spoon/laddle since I have nothing to do when I got home. And yeah, not bad... I just started my knife collection again since my mother took all my knives when i was in high school going to college. I dont know where they were. Maybe they were buried, burned, or given away to the street children. I used to have some 3 balisongs, swiss army knife knock offs, folding and created some knives from 9-inch nails. Since this stove is quite rare in the Philippines, I have to order it from far away land. I think I got it from US thru Ebay. I really love this Swedish stove because it is very light and is ideal for backpacking trips or camping. Although my diy beer-can stoves are lighter. What’s great about the Trangia stove is its simple design. The stove is made of brass by the way, which make it more unique. There are no moving parts which might break and make it useless. It has a watertight lid in which you can use so that the extra fuel will not be spilled. I also like the simmer ring design in which you can control the flame of the stove. What I don’t like about it is the pot stand. It’s too big and bulky! But that’s just it. Overall, this stove is great! This stove uses denatured alcohol which is available in all hardware stores nationwide. It can boil a liter of water faster without using too much fuel.
